My Jake had the same reaction to his oranges in his stocking. (All he wanted from Santa in his stocking was oranges and chocolate milk.) Santa really lucked out this year.
Mike reacts the same way when I leave an orange in his stocking. :) Jack just thought it was a ball and kept saying, "ball...ball...ball!"
Santa always leaves at least one orange at the bottom of every stocking I thought. Fruit, candy, thats a balanced breakfast.
Last week in primary class I asked Nani what she loved most about Christmas. She said two things: 1. Acting out the nativity on Christmas Eve. 2. Getting an orange on Christmas morning. So she really does love it!!!!
I love their faces! Priceless!
i can't believe how much nani looks like malia in that picture. henry said that all he wanted for christmas was an orange, a pez dispenser, and a candy cane. looks like we could have stopped after the stockings and he would have been thrilled. why do we train them to expect more?
