calgon take me away, anywhere but here!

this is my life today!

this includes all of the rv bedding and towels from our weekend jaunt up north, plus our normal weeks worth of clothing, etc. oh, and it includes the baby's crib bedding and pj's because she woke up this morning swimming in her own pee! ok, not "swimming" but the closest you can get to swimming in a crib! it was so gross! i stripped her down to throw her into the tub and when i pulled her feet out of her footed pj's they were WET and starting to prune up!!! ewww gross!! how does someone so little pee sooo much in one night??!!

what this does not include, are the other two loads that are still in the washer and dryer just waiting to be added to the ever increasing pile! oh, and have i told you how much i despise folding clothes?? it's right up there with unloading the dishwasher, which reminds me it is full of clean dishes! ugh!

i bet you're jealous! you wish you were me today, don't ya?!

(note: have any of you mother's tried those night time diapers? i am so tempted to go out and buy them, like, right now!! i don't want this to happen again! do they really work? do tell!)

Don't tell anyone but I actually enjoy doing laundry. Grocery shopping I will surrender anyday though.

About the diaper, I haven't ever tried the overnight diapers but we do buy overnight pull-ups for Ethan and Cole. Ethan has been potty trained since he was barely two but he still wets at night.

They do help. So many mornings Ethan would wake up completely drenched too. Not fun. Especially when you're five years old. Poor guy...

Good luck.

I will unload your dishes if you load mine up for me ;)
we usually go up a size in diapers when we have mornings like that. We tried the overnight ones, but they are harder to find and cost more, It seemed to me that going up a size usually fixed the problem. But I have tank kids, so I dont know how your girls will fit with a bigger diaper.

We used the overnighters for Ethan and they worked great! (he was a big drinker) The extra money was worth not changing the sheets daily!

I feel your pain. My two least favorite chores are unloading the dishwasher, and laundry. And it seems like those are two things that happen more than any others! It's just not fair.

I wish I was there, I'd love to help you fold cloths, as long as I have a good movie to watch while folding. Or good company to talk to.

Mahina.... i should take a picture of our apartment right this very second and post it for you to see.... its a complete mess! but i dont want other people to see.... maybe I could just email it to you! I still have unfolded laundry on the couch from last week. and a couple loads from 2 days ago. we can't sit at our table and eat because it is covered... by miscelaneous things such as... sunscreen, our beach box a couple of my "bags" stuarts papers/mail some costco purchases that haven't been put away yet, camera, hair brush, banana holder (w/out bananas) placemats... you know the regular stuff that would be on a table.... as for the full dishwasher... be grateful you have a dishwasher.... I have a sponge and drying rack =) and its just one big sink not a 2 section one that I would die for! however.... i'm sure we dont create as much dshes as you do with your family of 5 vs our family of 2. bedroom.... more clothes on the floor and couch.... bed unmade.... the bed was covered with clean laundry the other day but was moved out to the living room couch that night because we had to sleep... i'm just not the best at cleaning... or keeping things nice and neat, you might remember back to my always messy room growing up. anyways.... just wanted to paint you a picture so you know that I can feel your pain. Love you!!!! I would totally help you if I were there!

Dang it! Becky made the offer before me. I like to unload but not load.

And it never ends, does it? Just when you think all of the housework is done there is always more to do! That is a HUGE mess of laundry though. Have fun!

I completely share your disdain for folding clothes. I don't know what it is! I love clean, fresh smelling clothes but I hate to fold them!!
