the wait is over

okay, so i know not everyone has been waiting for this post, but many of you have asked so here you go.....

while my parents were here for christmas (more on that to come!), my mom was on a mission to not leave without taking pictures of my ever increasing belly. so, thanks to her, all of you who have been wanting to see my prego belly, get to see it! these were taken a week ago today while i was just over 34 weeks along.

now, before i show you, i just have to  say that i am feeling HUGE! like i said in this post, i am uncomfortable, as is witnessed by my waddling. i am so ready to be done! and as a reference of comparison i am going to include some pics from my last pregnancy with kawena.

so here i am last week:

barebelly      bellyhug

and because the girls are so cute and love to be featured on the blog here are 2 more:

lalabelly      nanibelly

(please ignore the hair! my last haircut was while we were still in oregon! yeah, i know that was like 3 months ago! i NEED to find someone good to go to! i need you kara!)

what do you think? am i as fat as santa? please, don't actually answer that!! if not having a lap for kids to actually sit on qualifies, well, then, we know the answer!

anyway, here i am in 2006 when i was expecting kawena:

Copy of family tree      lalakiss

i was tiny, right? oh i forgot to mention that these were taken 4 days before i went into labor! kawena was born five days after these pictures were taken!

currently, i still have 5 weeks left and i am bigger than i was with kawena!

now can you see why i waddle and am so ready to have this baby! i can always hope that this one will be 3 weeks early like kawena was, or even 2 weeks early like nani. but with my luck and just from the way this pregnancy has gone, i will probably have the baby a day late, like i was with kale'a! that thought makes my body ache and makes me want to cry!

You're gorgeous dawling! You have a very cute baby belly :) I'm so excited for you and to find out if it's a boy or a girl!

As for my stroller - I LOVE it! It's the "Double Expedition Jogging Stroller" from onestepahead.com. I looked everywhere for a good one and this has a pivoting front wheel that locks if you want it too, both seats recline independently, it also comes with a rain cover and a tire pump. Some of them even have an ipod hook-up - though you'd probably have to call the company for that. It was WAY less expensive than all of the others I looked at. As you can tell - I recommend it! ;) A few cons: It does fold down but you'll need a big trunk to put it in and the straps are kind of rough. Our front wheel has been a little jiggly lately but I think that's our fault because we toss it in and out of our MDX a little roughly!
There's a long post for you! I hope that helps.

Love ya,
Kristi

oh my stars you are adorable!!!!! I wished I looke dhtat great when I was pregnant. I think I looke like that half way thru this last pregnancy. And I think not feeling good makes you feel worse than you normally would. but regardless, you look beautiful--and the girls too.

You've got to know how good you look. Really. Deep down you know. You are NOT huge at all. Even if you were you always seem to get back to your way skinny figure after the baby anyway. No fair.

Well, even if pregnancy isn't feeling great, you're still looking great. ;-) It's a darn good thing you have such gorgeous babies, isn't it?

It's funny, when I was pregnant people would tell my that I didn't look that big, but all I could think was that I was HUGE! Having said that, I don't think you look very big at all! :)

your tummy may be bigger this time, but you are just as adorable. good luck with those last few weeks. is it still looking like you may have a c-section? it seems like that was one of the possibilities with your placenta issues.

Mahina, you look great and amazing and even though you may feel huge, you don't look huge (although I DO NOT believe anyone who says that to me...) Anyway, I saw your comment on my blog and yes, I could go anytime. I'm hoping this baby comes a little bit early because I am totally done being pregnant right now, but then again, I'm not totally ready for a brand new baby either. Yikes huh?

Anyway, I'm glad you posted photos of your belly. You look great!

your not even that big my friend... you look good. hope that you get to go to the hospital sooner than later!

you look beautiful! Very radiant. It gets tougher the more pregnancies you have. And it really does make a difference as to how your baby is laying or positioning. I know Robbie pushed me to the "outer limits" it seemed. Others did not.

I love the pictures and especially the ones with your girls with you. And to answer your question, you don't look huge

Question?? Are you going to wait and tell us if you are having a boy or a girl?

You look great!!

She's right, Not as fat as any Santa I've ever seen. Keep feelin' good. 3 or 4 weeks and you'll forget all about the watermelon belly.

You are beautiful! I cannot believe how tiny you are and were in 2006. I don't believe you had her 5 days after that picture was taken-I think I looked like that at 4 months along. I was HUGE!!! Hope everything is going well-you look great!
