so, for all of you who check my tickers daily, c'mon i know you do (i just tell myself that so i'll keep running and swimming! ha!), the numbers won't be doing much this week, except staying right where they are! *sigh*
better luck next week! i'm praying for a speedy recovery and super immunity for my other two girls, not to mention myself and mitch!

Poor Kawena. What a sad face. Come bike Saturday! You can at least get that workout in this week.
how interesting, Dylan has that exact same face on right now. Except his cheeks are crusted from the lovely stuff.
sick kids stink
I really think that if kids are going to be sick, they need to have fevers high enough to make them delirious so that they'll sleep all day and us moms can continue to be productive. :) Have fun sitting on the couch holding your baby...
I hope she feels better and fast! We just got done being sick here and it is no fun. Although...my son fever was high and he was delirious and hallucinating and it was scary, so maybe a high fever isn't such a good thing. :)
Hope she feels better soon!
That is one of the cutest little sick-o's ever. Good luck on it passing quickly and skipping the rest of you.
what a super sad fast. I hope her recovery is speedy for your sanity's sake.
So sad. I hope she feels better! No fun with a sick baby. Hopefully she is sleeping a lot.
Thank you for commenting on my blog!
Oh, that sweet little face is too much! I hope she feels better soon! I would love to have a girl one day...I love her little piggy tails, too.:)
you should do pushups and situps! then you could enter dad's challenge :D
My poor baby. I hope she feel better soon!
You know that poem...
"To My Child"...
You are the trip I did not take,
You are the pearls I did not buy,
You are my blue Italian lake,
You are my peice of foreign sky."
Well you can add...
You are the miles I did not run,
and
You are the laps I did not swim...
Oh I so know how frustrating it is to miss your workouts, and your baby will never fully appreciate your sacrifice but you will know and you can give yourself a pat on the back.
jess:
so true, so true! i love your extra stanza for the poem!
poor thing! hope she feels better soon. and hope that the rest of your fam can fend off the germs.
(even when she is sick and sad, she is just too cute!)
I love an excuse not to exercise, even if it means a snotty nose. And your baby girl has one sweet nose.
Do you live in the Bridget zone? My husband grew up in Tigard and we met in the singles ward that meets in Lake Oswego (I moved to OR after college). We then lived in Eugene for five years. I don't know why I just said all of that but I still feel part Oregonian and love things and people who are Oregon too. Like you.
I hope I just didn't freak you out with that "love" phrasing. I just re-read my comment and realized it sounded creepy.
Well, I did live in Eugene for five years... there is a lot of creepy love down there.
ilene:
you did not freak me out. in fact, i never would have noticed if you hadn't pointed it out.
and yes i am in the "bridget zone". we carpool to preschool each week! she's only 2 minutes away! lucky me!
I love your girls! They're so cute and have so much expression in their little faces! You're photography just keeps getting better and better - it's fun to check in.
I got rid of my blond too. For the first time in my life I have dark hair. I'll try and update my blog soon to show the world. I'm not as good as you . . .

Kristi
