introducing…

announcement

if i was on top of my life right now this would have been posted sooner and not, say, when the boys are already 6 1/2 weeks old!

we are loving our boys!  they are two of the sweetest little guys! the girls love that there are two of them... nani AND kale'a can each hold one at the same time!  and i love when they do!  they are such big helpers that this is the first time in my life when i DIDN’T want them to go back to school!

this is just a quick post to announce that we did indeed welcome these boys into our family on thanksgiving day (yup, that is the day after i was released from my 5 week hospital stay) and that i am still alive!  i do plan on posting the birth story because i love birth stories and this one was pretty crazy, but wonderful!  plus, i need to write it down!  however, that will be saved for a later date when things are a little more… haha, i was going to say normal, but that won’t be for awhile, i’m sure!  so i will just say that the birth story will have to wait!

until then, here are a few more pictures of our dear boys:

They are so beautiful, congratulations on such a breathtaking addition to your family. I think that Maui looks like your family. I can't picture exactly who but a long time ago there was a picture on your blog of you and your siblings playing games together, or at least you were talking about playing games together. When I saw Maui i remembered that picture.

I was certain that you must have had them by now, but i am so happy to see their pictures and read their names. Congrats, Mahina! They are beautiful! I hope you are able to get some sleep and are enjoying six kids.

They are so beautiful. I would love to come be your nanny at this moment--unfortunately I think my kids might miss me. My baby is 2 and it's so sad. Enjoy those sweet boys. I'm sure you will master being a mom of 6 in no time.

They are so beautiful! It is such a fun (and draining, and crazy!) time during the first year. I think all I ever did was feed/change/feed/change... repeat :). I agree, twins are the best (and it just keeps getting better at every phase!). Congrats again and I hope you get some extra sleep sometime soon!

Oh congratulations to you and your family! They are adorable little boys and I'm so glad they made it here safely. Hope you get a little bit of rest and I'm glad to hear that your girls are helping. I hope we get to meet them someday!

Wow...you didn't get to be home long! I guess that was a great Thanksgiving anyway, huh?

Congratulations! I noticed they were born 7 minutes apart. I wonder if will always seem like Makaio is the older brother.

They are really, really gorgeous, Mahina!!
