secure in his manhood (or should i say boyhood?)

yesterday, our house was crawling with 8 children from the ages of 18 months to 7 years old! it was a very exciting day for all involved!

however, sometimes, when there is so much excitement you don't want to miss out on any of the fun. and sometimes, this means potty accidents, especially for those newly potty trained!

as i said, it was a very exciting day and this little guy didn't want to miss out on any of the fun. the problem is, as most of you know, we have no male offspring in our home! so, when a cute little boy has a "little accident" in our home, he doesn't have many choices outside of pink! so this is what you get:

i was very pleased with lala's willingness to share her clothes with her friend. she excitedly took him up to her room and was so thoughtful in her choices. you see, these pink pants were the perfect choice for brandon because the bottom of the pants zip off to make capris. brandon is shorter than lala, so all she had to do was zip the bottoms off and these "capris" became the obvious best choice!

who cares that they are bright pink and he is a boy! apparently, he is secure enough in his "manhood" to not care! at least she did let him maintain some dignity by giving him a blue shirt, just don't point out the cute little pink flowers along the bottom!

The boys in my house all have their preferences...pink over purple, Sleeping Beauty over Cinderella, Sharpay over Gabriella...the list goes on. But at the end of the day, it's all about Tom Brady, Nike, man hugs and "yup" meaning "I love you too".

Lala was so nice to share...and thank goodness for zip-off capris!

How funny. What did the mother say when she saw him?

i was wondering why that little girl had such a short boy haircut!

That's my boy! He has an older sister, so he's worn "girl clothing" before! I'm just glad he still looks like a boy despite the clothes. And Lala is a sweetie to share!

that is too funny. we are your exact opposite, we have enough t-shirts with sports on them, and jeans with holes in them to fill all our closet space.

Great job to Lala for sharing...she is a genius to cut them off to capri length for him, too. :)

He doesn't look like the color is bothering him one bit.

Man, what a day! That was a lot of kiddos!

Very sweet of Lala to share! He looks pretty pleased doesn't he? What a cute kid - looks like he's taking it like a man!

Wow...sounds like a fun day. That was very sweet of Lala to share her clothes and I love that Brandon didn't care having the pink capris and blue shirt with flowers on it. I'm sure his father was devastated, but that's okay.

It's people like you and Jessica who turn my tough masculine 2 year old into Princess Charming with HSM panties. You should be ashamed!
