so many questions......

as i become increasingly more uncomfortable every day, the big questions on my mind are,

  • how will labor start (water breaking, contractions)?
  • how long will it take once it starts?
  • will i be able to have another drug free labor and delivery?
  • will i have the strength to endure the discomfort?
  • will we make it to the hospital in time?
  • will she be early like our first (2 weeks early) and third (3 weeks early) daughters or will she be late (1 day late) like our second?
  • will i have back labor, again?
  • will i bounce back after having her?
  • will i ever be thin again?
  • will i ever stop itching?
  • will i ever be able to sleep again?
  • will i ever be able to rock with kawena and cuddle her close on my lap?
  • will i ever be able to eat whatever i want again and not worry about it burning in my throat?
  • will i ever walk without waddling?
  • will i ever run again?
  • will i ever see my toes again?
  • will i be able to be the mother of four girls?
  • will i ever....
  • will i ever...

well, you get the picture!

but the real burning and important question that i have is:

WHEN WILL SHE ARRIVE???

any guesses? (my due date is february 8)

I guess that she'll be a week early! Good luck! What 4 lucky girls to have you for a mother! And I'm sure you'll be back to your old body within a couple of weeks - unlike me who's never been able to get back to her old body! You always look fantastic!

My hugest fear about having another one is that Scotty won't be my baby anymore...that I won't be able to/he won't be interested in rocking & cuddling close to me.

How about Feb 4.

Did you finish the rice-pillow?

Just think of Feb 14th and it will all be over. Good luck with the 4th girl. What great fun times you will have with those beautiful girl talks and outings. Paula

I think Sunday, Feb. 1st. That's a good day for a birth.

And - Water breaking w/contractions - 4 hours. and yes to all the rest (except maybe the back labor)

I'm going with February 1st.

Do I get a huge prize for being right??! Totally kidding.

Well, since some of your kids birthdays have matched mine exactly, I do have a nephew born on Feb 10th. But I will predict Feb 1st.

The last little while is the hardest part of the wait. Soon you will be telling and retelling your birth story. We are anxiously awaiting. . . .

Oh i hope you will go early. I had both of my girls a week early and I can't imagine having to go that extra week! All I know is that this time next month you will be the fabulous mother of four precious girls.

I will place my bet on January 31st. The end is always the worst. I totally feel your pain--it seems like I just went through all of that. And just think of it as you have 3 big helpers when this new baby comes. I loved it when my mom put me in charge of things to help with Rowdy--when he was born.
P.S. I think I am getting anxious for you. Take care, you'll do great.

bronwen's birthday is feb. 1st and henry's is feb. 4th. how about one of those?

you are going to be fabulous and look fabulous again in no time. your girls are going to help A TON and you won't be able to remember what life was like before you had your four girls.

good luck. i'll be thinking of you.

I'm going to guess the 3rd. Better early than late. yes thankfully all those things do go away. Just not as quickly as I remember it last time. Hang in there and Good Luck!

Good luck Camila and I have our fingers crossed for you. I think you need to have people guess not only the day but the hour too. Hehe. I'm going with Feb 9.

So happy that you're having a girl...you do them so well! I'm not even going to guess on the rest...what happens happens and somehow we survive it all! Best of luck to you...

My sister had her baby girl last week, and my girls friends are pregnant with girls. Must be something in the water...

Makes me want one!

For your sake I'm hoping she comes early, but maybe you have an "every other baby" pattern going on which means she'd be late like #2. Who knows. All I know is that I have many of the same questions right now and I'm excited to see how all of yours get answered! Good luck. I'm sure it will happen soon.

Luckily the answer to most of those questions is "yes." My question. . . what's her name? Will she have a name soon after birth or are we going to have another Kawena situation? :)

MAHINA!!
Congratulations! I read on Tom Eastmonds new Facebook (how random is that!) that you had the baby 2 days ago. So...how did it all go? Got a name picked out for your 4th little beauty? Can't wait to hear about it all (no doubt on the blog!). Did you see my blog? Good news for us too! Keep in touch! (hey, BTW we're passing through Albuquerque in March...we'd LOVE to see you and your precious family!).
